Sex distribution

This calculator helps you work out how likely it is that you have one of each biological sex among the fish, or among other species with two sexes. The calculator assumes that the sex distribution is even, meaning that there is a 50% chance that a random individual in the group is male. In some species, the sex distribution may be uneven, but the calculator can still give a certain indication.
